Every little bit helps......my grandma use to say. Of course, she always followed it up with, 'that's what the lady said when she peed in the ocean.' She cracked me up.

I remember once trying to plug a lamp in under my bed which was in her front bedroom. I had just moved in, and was 18 by a dew days.... As grandma stood in the doorway she asked, probably something like....'What are you doing Sport?' As I'm trying to find the light socket....which was under the bed. 'I can't find the hole,' to which she replied without skipping a beat, 'put a little hair around it.' Oh grandma, she loved to laugh. A church lady she was, who also cursed a bit and her mind ran in dirty water from time to time. We laughed together, cried together, prayed together and shared many memories together. I guess it'd good I can still remember today. How I miss the old redhead. Never away from my heart and so far still in my memory bank....
