Choose joy

Sitting in the waiting room nearly in tears watching the Facts of Life....feeling nostalgic while sitting in a place where my young adult life once worked. It's a good nostalgia and good  ....almost a wet eye.  Reflection is a blessing of where we've been, where we've come from and the process in which God allows us to get where we are. #blessedbeyondmeasure

Here for my last iron infusion. I see my doctor tomorrow. I'm doing very well and in fact just responded to someone asking the question....if I were any better I would burst. And that's the truth.

I have a wife who still appears to be deeply in love with me, a mother who is aging with grace while thriving and striving, a full belly and I walked what seemed a half of mile to the endo department without a hitch. I'm wearing regular shoes with no problem and no hitch known to me in my step. With having a knee , and ankle replacement and a rod in my other ankle I thank God I am able. It is because of His great design for my life I am here and able....and that my friends overjoys my heart. There's been a lot of personal struggles I haven't spoke of. God is doing sonething in my life. I don't know what it is, but I'm here for it!#ichoosejoy
