Letting go of the past.......

I've heard it said, "I wish I had partied less," I don't know, it's a bit misleading for sure. You see, there's thing called your short-term self, and then there's your long-term or longer-term self. If you're not true to your short-term self, your long-term self will slowly decay. But when you're a believer in Christ, it is my belief there is a thing called old and new life.

My past mistakes, or poor choices, mostly because of partying and not making right choices is all a part of my past life. I am thankful to serve a God who was not only aware of those poor choices, He allowed them.

I serve a risen Savior who was once hung on a cross, persecuted, spit on and mocked and left to die. He died for every one of those wrong 'choices,' or mistakes. He took and removed my guilt and shame. He forgave every wrong choice and turned the ashes of my past life and He made something Beauitul and New.

Today, though I may faulter, I serve an amazing whom I refer to as God. He is my All in All, for without Him............I am nothing.
