Addendum: It's moments like these that make me reflect on the preciousness of time and the inevitable changes that come with aging. Whether it's counting the Christmases, birthdays, or simply the passing of days, I've learned that everything in life evolves.

Sometimes we have to make a choice - to pivot and embrace the changes or to remain stagnant and bitter. Stubbornness can often be our downfall, robbing us of the joy and growth that comes with embracing new seasons.

In this journey, there's one constant that I rely on, and that's Christ Himself. He never changes. I find comfort in knowing that I can count on Him today, tomorrow, and all the days ahead. His unwavering presence brings me hope and peace.

As the New International UK version reminds us in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

So, as I admire my mom's radiant spirit and youthful energy at 80, I'm reminded that life is a beautiful journey filled with new beginnings and endless possibilities. Cheers to embracing change and trusting in an unchanging Savior. ❤️✨
