I had a regular check up with my primary physician today. He seemed very happy with the fact my bloodwork came back pretty well. My a1c, which is the richter scale for diabetics is perfect! In fact, my doctor said if I start having low blood sugar I can go off of my diabetic medication (Metformin). I've cheated several times when it comes to food. I've eaten a lot of carbs, which turns to sugar, plus I've had what I thought was too many sweets, but apparently not. My red ablood cell count has gotten better too, which I attribute to a medication change. There is always a lot of 'personal' health stuff I choose not to share at this point, but let's me just say I am doing relatively well. As I told someone today, my feet and chevroleggs are still getting me to where I need to go. I may not get there as fast as I use to, but eventually I get there. The good Lord always provides a way. I know that Ultimately, He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. My army has stayed steady and all of my 'soldiers' are still kicking and fighting. I'm still here with no intention of going anywhere. It's clear to me the Lord's not finished with me yet.
Oh, and by the way, I will be having some reconstructive surgery to my right foot and ankle in October. I would appreciate your prayers and support.
