a chance encounter

I guess what I am about to write of really isn't a chance encounter when you're from a small town. I mean, if there's one thing I've learned growing up in a small town, and that is be careful what you say to who because it might come back to bite you, or me in this case in the butt...BUT, (do you see how I did that?) that is not the reason my fingers are on the keys, another time, another place.

Today, while writing in my car while sitting in the parking lot of a park under the tree, a woman walked by and asked if I had my car long. " I have not," I replied, I looked up at the woman who was likely in her latter 60's, maybe early 70's, and with her leashed dog, "I've had it about a year, maybe a year and a half." She then said her sister traded her car in not too long ago to the same car lot where I purchased my car. She asked me what year it was and said that her sister also traded in the same year car. I mean, what are the chances? She wished me well with the car and she walked on. I mean, how random is that.

i had dinner with my mom this evening. Since my wife works til 830 or 9 this evening we most always have dinner together on that night. We enjoyed the others company as we often do......not always, but most of the time. I cherish my time with my mother. Heck, I cherish my time with my wife, my family and my friend. It's been a great day and I am thankful God allowed it

Goodnight friends, family members and my 3 fans.
